Lettuce & Tomato is a cozy, yet casual restaurant where we take fresh, seasonal ingredients and transform them into creative salads and gourmet bites.

We were inspired when we looked around Miami for our favorite sandwiches and couldn’t find them.  We want to fill that gap and offer you some serious gourmet sandwiches in a fun and relaxed environment.

We love food and we love to take simple ingredients and build them into complex layers of flavor. We take pride in making almost everything from scratch, and we only work with suppliers that provide us the freshest, highest quality products.   

We also offer fresh juices, great wines and beers and some really fun wine cocktails to accompany your food.

We believe that eating is a total experience that involves all senses. Not only do we pay close attention to our flavors but also the ambiance, the music you listen to while you eat, and the energy from our staff. We know great service is a huge part of the eating experience and we love to provide it. 

Little by little, we want to win your heart and stomach, so we can see you every day.

Lettuce & Tomato Gourmet Gastrobar is the first creation of foodie entrepreneur Roy Starobinsky. Nestled in a small strip mall and open every day, Lettuce & Tomato Gourmet Gastrobar is located 17010 West Dixie Highway in the heart of North Miami Beach.

Roy Starobinsky

Born in Argentina 31 years ago, this foodie fell madly in love with food about 10 years ago. Trying to find his place in the restaurant world, held jobs as busboy, barback, bartender, barista, waiter, cook and manager. After four years as GM at Epicure Restauant in Sunny Isles, Florida, and also a couple of years of training at the Cordon Bleu, he founded his first venture as an entrepreneur.

With the help of many friends which this project could not have existed without, Lettuce & Tomato Gourmet Gastrobar will be operated and managed by the owner. Roy knows that passion, love and hard work, is a cocktail that always works in this industry and you will find it every day in our restaurant.

Service is key and as important as our high end food, to ensure that everybody is treated like family in our home.

Mary O’Connor

She heads up our beverage program, curates our wine list, and will frequently be on hand to help find you the right wine for your meal.  Pairing suggestions for each menu item are offered on the wine list.  We want our wine list to offer delicious wine at fair prices that everyone can enjoy with their meal and you will find that our pricing reflects that commitment.

She will also be offering wine tasting events every week. Please check out our website regularly for news  on our events.


Mary grew up living and breathing wine and food culture in Europe.  Her passion for wine and eclectic background has allowed her to travel extensively through the world’s wine regions and work in many places before landing in Miami and in Comeicalla.  The only thing she loves more than great wine is great food and the ultimate pleasure is when the two are enjoyed together in the company of loved ones.  Wine is pleasure, discovery and even sometimes difficult, but should never be pretentious.
